Wraparound Program

CSI's Wraparound program provides quality culturally sensitive services to children and their families. The services are a collaborative approach with an individualized focus to maintaining the child in the home and the community whenever possible. The Wraparound services embrace the Child and Adolescent Service System Program (CASSP) principles as a guide to service delivery. These principles are: child-centered, family-focused, community based, multi-system, culturally competent, and least restrictive / least intrusive.

CSI became licensed, as an outpatient mental health clinic in 1996 to address the growing needs of children and families. In the fall of 1997 CSI was approved by Community Behavioral Health (CBH) to provide behavioral health outpatient services to Philadelphia residents. The wraparound component was added in 1998.
