Services to Children in
Their Own Home (SCOH)
"Keeping Families Together"
REFERRAL PROCESS
The SCOH Referral process is standard for all families in need of service. The Department of Human Services (DHS), Central Referral Unit, refers families. After determining the level and scope of services needed by the family, a worker is assigned to begin a more detailed assessment of the family's level
of functioning.
The assigned worker will work along with the family to set goals and build on their strengths to create
a stable environment for the children and family as a whole. The length of service varies by family.
STAFF
CSI'S SCOH staff is a mixture of social workers and
case managers of varied backgrounds and experiences. We have been successful in building a staff that is knowledgeable about the challenges that face our families and us as workers in this field.
Our staff works with families around the following issues:
Reunification | Housing | Mental Health Resources | School Attendance | Life Skills | Child Rearing | Job
and Educational Resources | Family Stabilization
As with all SCOH agencies the list is extensive. However, we hope to be able to continue to grow and provide services that families need.
Over the years, CSI's staff has maintained a long-standing relationship with other professionals and our
clients. It is our hope that we can continue our growth and service in the communities that need us.
