Behavioral Health Care Services

We are an outpatient clinic that provides quality services to children, adolescents, adults and the family. Our aim is to enhance individual achievement through a comprehensive approach & caring for families experiencing crisis or dysfunction.

CSI became licensed as an outpatient mental health clinic in 1996 to address the growing needs of children and families. In the fall of 1997 CSI was approved by Community Behavioral Health (CBH) to provide behavioral health outpatient services to Philadelphia residents.

GOALS

The behavioral Health practitioners provide services designed to enhance the emotional well-being of the children, adolescents and their families.

Goals may include:

  • Fostering the emotional equilibrium of individuals, families and their inter relationships
  • Reducing crises-oriented or maladaptive behavior
  • Ameliorating loss and grief issues
  • Lessening the personal impact of traumatic events
  • Teaching healthy responses to psychological stressors
  • Alleviating anxiety, depression and anger management problems
  • Fostering learning, self-actualization
  • Teaching conflict resolution and Maximizing work productivity
  • Realistic and efficient problem-solving
  • Counseling around personal skill building and rehabilitation needs
  • Screening for mental disability applications
  • Assessing mental health risks and level of care needs

PROFESSIONAL STAFF

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania qualifies our therapists as Mental Health Professionals. The staff includes child and adult psychiatrists, licensed psychologists and family therapists. All are experienced and credential through an extensive screening process.

Our Behavioral Health Care Team works to provide the following services:

-- Comprehensive Treatment Planning
-- Marital/Family/Couples Therapy
-- Counseling for Parents (natural, foster)
-- Individual Therapies (Insight Oriented/Cognitive Behavioral)
-- Stress Management
-- Domestic Violence Offenders Treatment Program
-- Anger Management
-- Wraparound Programming (BHRS Extended Mental Health Services     for Children below age 21)
-- Counseling for work-related disorders
-- Counseling for emotional disorders associated with active medical     conditions
-- Psychiatric assessment of consumers' capability to manage funds
-- Psychiatric assessment for PA Bureau of Disability Determinations

OFFICE HOURS

Monday through Friday 9:00 am - 9:00 PM
Saturdays 10:00 am - 3:00 PM
